I Shoot Where Your Customers Want to Be

I'm Ben Vallance — a photographer and cinematographer who creates visual content for outdoor and adventure brands that mean business.

I've spent years in the field: hiking remote ridgelines, camping in the backcountry, chasing the kind of light that only shows up for about eleven minutes. That time outside isn't just personal — it shapes every shoot. I know how mountains behave in the afternoon, where the wind kills your audio, and when to hold for the shot that makes everything else worth it.

That same instinct drives my documentary work. I've produced short-form films and series for a wide range of clients — from outdoor brands and NGOs to broadcasters and streaming platforms. Documentary filmmaking demands patience, presence, and the ability to find the story as it unfolds. That's a skill you build in the field, not a studio.

That experience on the ground is what separates content that looks outdoor from content that feels outdoor. And for brands in this space, that difference is everything.

I work with gear companies, outdoor apparel brands, tourism boards, NGOs, and adventure-driven businesses who need visuals as bold as what they're selling. My job is to make your audience feel something — and then make them act on it.
